Monthly base fee
The Professional selling plan costs €39 per month plus VAT, regardless of the number of sales. Alternatively, there is the Individual plan with no base fee at €0.99 per item sold. From around 40 sales per month, the Professional plan works out cheaper.
FBA: Fulfillment by Amazon
Storage and fulfillment fees for FBA are charged separately. The storage fee for standard-size items in the fashion categories is €19.99 per cubic meter per month from January to September and €29.23 from October to December. From April 17, 2026, Amazon additionally charges a logistics surcharge of 1.5% on FBA fulfillment fees. Amazon does not charge a separate payment processing fee.
Example calculation: sneakers for €89.90
You sell a pair of sneakers for €89.90 with free shipping on the Professional plan. Amazon charges a 15% referral fee on €89.90, which is €13.49. No fixed per-item fees apply on the Professional plan. Your payout amount is €76.41, and the effective fee rate is 15%. The €39 monthly base fee is spread across all sales of the month: with 100 pairs sold, that is €0.39 per pair.
For comparison, clothing: a dress for €80 as a Prime item costs 15% on the first €45 (€6.75) plus 7% on the remaining €35 (€2.45), a total of €9.20 or effectively 11.5%. Without Prime it would be 15% on the full price, which is €12.00.
